Judaism is the religion of the Jewish people who believe in the Torah which is what tells them what they should and should not do. Not all Jews believe the same thing but variations of different ideas. Judaism isn't only seen as a religion but also a way of life.
Beliefs
Like Catholic's, Jewish people believe that there is only one God and that he alone made everything and will continue to make everything.
Jews believe that there is no human form of God and that you can only pray to God and not to any other form of spiritual being. It's believed that Moses is our teacher and he is the greatest prophet of all time. Moses transcribed the Torah for people to understand and it is unchanged to this day. Jewish people also believe in reincarnation and the resurrection of the dead into a new life form.

Jewish mythology have had a profound effect on christian and islamic myths as well as different aspects of culture around the world.
Sacred texts and other formal writings
Sacred writings in Judaism hold more than just a religious significance but also cultural, social and historical heritage. The various texts include different meanings such as spiritual, moral, historical, cultural as well as a guid to everyday life. There are many texts including The oral law and the Talmud however the most sacred and referred to text is the Torah.
Rituals
There are many different rituals and festivals within the Jewish religion with the main one being the Sabbath which is undertaken every week from a Friday over to Saturday. While the Sabbath is a ritual which happens every week, many of the other rituals only take place once a year and for some only once a lifetime. Jewish rituals can take place either at the persons home, in a Synagogue or at both places.

Judaism is said to have a very complicated social structure. The leaders within the religion are the Rabi's who have an extended understanding of the Torah and are able to interpret it for anyone who is having trouble understanding.

Men and women both experience the Jewish religion quite differently and have each got separate roles with the women being seen as the homemaker. However, both men and women are seen as spiritually equal before God but the things deemed expectable for each gender to undertake clearly place them in different roles in life.
